When Yvan Arpa established ArtyA, he first launched “STRUCK BY LIGHTNING” collection that uses an artificial lightning case.
He generated the ultra-high voltages lightning from a huge high-voltage generator called Tesla Coil, and he was hit the stainless steel cases by lightning.
The lightning case and the performance of Tesla Coil gave a big impact to Swiss watch industry.

By artificial lightning, the surface of case discolors and wounds, and it is impossible to reproduce same case.
That’s why ArtyA’s Lightning watches are all unique pieces.
So, Son of Earth Butterfly is the classic series of ArtyA, combined the dial butterfly wings set on and the Lightning case.
