The ArtyA Purity Central Tourbillon Wavy Purple represents a pinnacle of contemporary watchmaking, focusing the visual experience entirely on its mechanical heart. This limited-edition timepiece—available as a numbered series of 9 pieces or a Unique 1/1—is built around the manufacture PUR-T4 automatic caliber, which was notably nominated for the 2024 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie.

The most defining feature is the impressive, oversized 19 mm tourbillon, strategically placed at the absolute center of the watch. To give this hypnotic mechanism the spotlight it deserves, ArtyA deliberately removed central hands, opting instead for a poetic time display via two subtle peripheral markers that indicate hours and minutes from beneath the dial.

Technically, the movement is a feat of engineering, operating at a high frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour), which is exceptional for a tourbillon of this scale, and features 335 components and 36 jewels. Its energy is supplied by two barrels working in unison, delivering a torque of 940 gr.mm to maintain a robust 72-hour power reserve.

The movement is housed in ArtyA’s signature 40 mm “Wavy” case, which is also available in 43 mm. The case material is a crystalline-clear or color-changing (Nano Saphir) sapphire, with a thickness of 14.5 mm and a water resistance of 30 meters. The sapphire dial itself is a deep violet hue, featuring an engraved chapter ring set with Super-LumiNova® markers for readability. The ensemble is secured by a nubuck leather strap with an ArtyA pin buckle.
